We joined forces with the NTE operators to feed on-the-ground intelligence to police to assist with pre-empting crimes committed by repeat offenders and gangs of drug dealers.

Liverpool Nightlife CIC provides intelligence to Merseyside Police, which to-date has led to over 30 arrests and £100,000 worth of confiscated drugs and weapons.The CIC joined forces with the NTE operators to co-ordinate the initiative, which has been going from strength to strength. However, Liverpool”s crime rate is still high, and with the help of the city’s NTE, we can continue to feed intelligence and bring down crime rates as a result. So many violent crimes take place in the city centre at night, and recently we have seen some tragic fatalities that could have been prevented. We hope our efforts to pre-empt crimes committed by repeat offenders and gangs of drug dealers will continue to prove valuable – and we could really use the help of local NTE businesses.
